General terms AEGEAN Gift Card

1. The AEGEAN Gift Card is activated 48 hours after purchase.
2. The AEGEAN Gift Card is valid for bookings up to 12 months from the date of purchase without limitation to the date of flight. In case of selecting a "Delivery Date," the expiration date of the AEGEAN Gift Card is not affected. Any remaining amount after 12 months is non-refundable.
3. The recipient can book the ticket of their choice to cover part or all the ticket value and additional services such as suitcase, seat selection, Fast Track, sports equipment and pets.  
4. The AEGEAN Gift Card is not personal.
5. As part of periodic audits and to safeguard the transactions, the Gift Card’s buyer or receiver may be asked to send for verification by email details of the AEGEAN Gift Card purchase transaction, as well as details of his/her passport or identity card.
6. AEGEAN is not liable in case of theft or loss of the AEGEAN Gift Card and the amount of the AEGEAN Gift Card will not be transferred to a new AEGEAN Gift Card. The code should be kept safe.
7. In case of inappropriate, offensive or any other kind of inappropriate message, AEGEAN reserves the right to reject the purchase of the AEGEAN Gift Card.
8. If the sender selects the "Delivery Date" option, the AEGEAN Gift Card will be sent to the recipient on the specified date between 11:00 and 12:00 (Greek time).
 

Purchase

1. The AEGEAN Gift Card purchase can only be made in Euro. 
2. The buyer cannot change the parameters set during the purchase of the AEGEAN Gift Card.
3. The buyer cannot cancel the AEGEAN Gift Card.
4. After the successful purchase of the AEGEAN Gift Card, a payment receipt for the purchase made by debit/credit card is sent to the customer-purchaser via email. An optional receipt of collection for corporate use may also be issued, including the company details provided during the purchase process. It is clarified that this document does not constitute an invoice.
The retail receipt or invoice is issued upon the issuance of the relevant tickets and/or additional service, under the passenger’s details.
5. The "Delivery Date" option cannot be modified.
 

Redemption

1. The recipient can use the AEGEAN Gift Card exclusively through aegeanair.com, olympicair.com and Aegean App by filling in the discount code received via email in the special field "Promotional Code or Credit Voucher" that appears on the booking form.
2. The discount code is valid only when the transaction is in euros (€). 
3. The AEGEAN Gift Card can be redeemed to cover part or all of the ticket value and additional services such as luggage, seat selection, Fast Track, sports equipment, and pets both during the initial issuance and through the "My Booking" section. Passengers can select the desired service and apply the AEGEAN Gift Card code in the special field "Promotional Code or Credit Voucher". Any remaining amount resulting from the redemption of the AEGEAN Gift Card will be paid by the AEGEAN Gift Card recipient.
4. The AEGEAN Gift Card does not cover ticket change costs.
5. It is clarified that only one discount code can be used on each reservation.
6. The AEGEAN Gift Card cannot be redeemed for the purchase of an AEGEAN Pass.
7. The AEGEAN Gift Card can be used an unlimited number of times until it is fully redeemed and up to the expiration date
8. The AEGEAN Gift Card cannot be used to issue tickets temporarily booked with Hold my Booking service, for tickets and services to be issued by redeeming Miles+Bonus miles, Business on Board points and points from Bank Loyalty Programmes and for bookings for children travelling alone.
9. The AEGEAN Gift Card can be redeemed for one-way or roundtrip flights, domestic and/or international destinations and for direct or connecting flights operated by AEGEAN and/or Olympic Air. All codeshare flights and flights not operated by AEGEAN and Olympic Air aircrafts are excluded.

Cancellations/ Gift Voucher

1. In case of voluntary cancellation of the ticket by the passenger, whose payment has been made using the AEGEAN Gift Card either in full or by using the card for payment of any additional amount, the refundable amount is returned in the form of a Gift Voucher valid for 12 months from the date of issue. 
2. The refundable amount is subject to the regulations of the ticket chosen by the passenger. Cancellations of tickets are made through the AEGEAN Call Center with a charge of the cancellation cost per ticket.
3. The regulations for Gift Voucher’s use are the same as those of the AEGEAN Gift Card as shown above. 
4. After 12 months the value of the Gift Voucher is not refundable.
5. The Gift Voucher can be redeemed up to 12 months from the date of issue.
