Self check-in

If our online options are not for you, no worries! You can use the AEGEAN Self-Service Kiosks at the airport to Check-in to your flight in just a few steps! You can also select a preferred seat, check a bag and print your boarding pass 24 hours to 30 minutes before your flight’s scheduled departure time, for one or more flights.

How to self check-in

Select AEGEAN from the displayed carriers and your preferred language to start.
Select one of the following to be identified:

✔ Booking Reference ✔ E-Ticket number ✔ Frequent Flyer number ✔ Passport Details ✔ Boarding pass barcode scan

1. Seat Selection

In this step you can select “confirm check in” with the seat that has been randomly assigned to you or you can select “seats” and select your preferred seat

2. Contact Details

Fill in your e-mail and phone number and receive important updates related to your trip

3. Baggage

Select between the 2 available options "No Baggage" / "Baggage to check in" and follow the detailed instructions on the screen to easily check your baggage

4. You're checked-in!

Your boarding pass will be printed and you are set to go!

If you have baggage, you can proceed to the bag drop-off belts and then continue to the airport gate. Otherwise, you can proceed to the gate from the moment it opens to at least 30 minutes before the departure time of your flight (at Athens International Airport "Eleftherios Venizelos," the gate closes strictly 15 minutes prior to departure). Please make sure your ID or your passport, as well as the boarding card are available for the boarding process!

Note: If you are traveling in Economy class with Light fare and the cabin storage is full, you will be asked to check in your carry-on bag for free at boarding. You'll receive a "Baggage receipt" at the gate and can pick up your bag at the baggage belt. You will need to remove valuables (e.g., laptops, cameras, power banks) before handing it over.

Passengers who have not presented an ID card or passport during the check-in procedure will not be allowed to travel. Please make sure that the name written on the identity documents used for travel are an exact match with the name written on your ticket, otherwise you will not be allowed to travel.
