Am I eligible for a Refund?

• Case 1: If your ticket is booked directly via an AEGEAN or Olympic Air point of sale (aegeanair.com, olympicair.com, Call Center, airport), and
  • your flight is cancelled by AEGEAN and/or Olympic Air, and
  • your flight was operated by AEGEAN and/or Olympic Air, and/or for flights by other collaborating airlines (codeshare flights).
    
    
• Case 2: If your ticket is booked through a travel agency located in specific countries in Europe* and/or Israel (online, offline), and 
  • your flight is cancelled by AEGEAN and/or Olympic Air, and 
  • your flight was operated by AEGEAN and/or Olympic Air.

Terms & Conditions of Refund

1. As soon as your Refund request is submitted successfully, you will receive a confirmation email with a registration number. All requests will be handled individually/separately.
   
   
2. In case you have a ticket booked directly via an AEGEAN or Olympic Air point of sale, as soon as you submit your request for Refund, subsequently the subjected booking (including all segments of the booking) will be cancelled, and your respective consent is automatically considered as given.
   
   
3. In case you have a ticket booked through a travel agency located in specific countries in Europe* and in Israel, as soon as you submit your request for Refund, subsequently the subjected booking will be cancelled only for the segments with AEGEAN or Olympic Air operating carrier(s), and your respective consent is automatically considered as given.
 

4. If your request meets all criteria for refund, then the amount you will receive will be of the same value as the ticket purchased, including the value for each additional service purchased, if any. Please note that specific services are excluded from Refund’s total value, more specifically: Travel Insurance, Donation SOS Children’s Villages, Other non-Air services (parking, hotels, etc).
   
    
5. For cancelled flights from 01/07/2020 and onwards, an additional 10% on the Credit Voucher's value will be offered. 
   
   
6. Rebooking fees or other penalties (such as service fees, name change penalty etc), are excluded from Refund’s total value.
   
   
7. You will receive a monetary refund for the amount that you paid for the ticket, either in your credit card or through bank transfer. In case we do not have the required information to proceed with your monetary refund, you will receive an email with instructions.
   
   
8. In case that the payment for the ticket included a combination of a Credit Voucher and other form of payment, you will receive a refund for the whole eligible amount either with a bank transfer or a new Voucher will be issued.
   
   
9. If you have purchased your ticket from a travel agency located in specific countries in Europe* and/or Israel (online or offline) and then purchased an additional service directly through an AEGEAN or Olympic Air point of sale (aegeanair.com, olympicair.com, Call Center, airport), then you are eligible to request a Refund for the total value of the ticket (both for the amount you paid for the ticket and  the additional service you purchased).
   
    
10. A refund request only for the additional services purchased directly through an AEGEAN or Olympic Air point of sale can be submitted through https://en.aegeanair.com/refund-application-retrieved-pnr.
    
    
11. If your ticket is booked with Miles+Bonus miles/bank loyalty scheme points redemption or if you have used a coupon to upgrade the class of your ticket, you are eligible to apply for a Refund request, and the respective miles/points or coupon will be credited back to you. For the remaining amount you paid, you will receive a monetary refund (in the same form of payment that the payment took place). If your ticket is booked with Business on Board points (BOB), then you must contact Business on Board department at: Bob@aegeanair.com.
