Am I eligible for a Credit Voucher?


For flights cancelled by AEGEAN/Olympic Air

1. If your ticket is booked directly via an AEGEAN or Olympic Air point of sale (aegeanair.com, olympicair.com, Call Center, airport), or through a travel agency (online, offline).
2. If your flight is cancelled by AEGEAN and/or Olympic Air.
  
For flights not cancelled by AEGEAN/Olympic Air, for which the passenger wishes to voluntary cancel.

1. If your ticket is booked directly via an AEGEAN or Olympic Air point of sale (aegeanair.com, olympicair.com, Call Center, airport).
 

Terms & Conditions of Credit Voucher (for flights cancelled by AEGEAN/Olympic Air)


1. Passengers interested to apply for a Credit Voucher, must do so within twelve (12) months from the scheduled flight date.  

2. If the initial booking included more than one passenger/ticket, then the passenger must submit the Credit Voucher application for each and every one of whom, the passenger would like to receive a voucher. Later, the passenger will receive separate vouchers, for each one of them. However, if an adult and a child/infant are included in the same booking, the value of each child’s/infant’s ticket will be incorporated to the Credit Voucher of one of the adult passengers of the booking and will be sent to him/her. 

3. As soon as the passenger submits the request for a Credit Voucher, subsequently the subjected booking (including all segments of the booking) will be cancelled, and the passenger’s respective consent is automatically considered as given. Once the passenger submits their request for a Credit Voucher, they will receive a confirmation email with a registration number. 

4. A voucher request only for additional services purchased directly through an AEGEAN or Olympic Air point of sale can be submitted through https://en.aegeanair.com/voucher-application-retrieved-pnr.

5. All requests will be handled individually/separately, and our aim is to reply to the latest, within the next 10 working days. 

6. As soon as the Credit Voucher request is processed successfully, the passenger will receive a confirmation email with the exact redeemable amount that the Credit Voucher(s) is/are valid for along with a promotional code and its Terms & Conditions. 

7.  The Credit Voucher the passenger will receive, will be of the same value as the ticket purchased, including the value of each additional service purchased, if any, plus an additional 10% Top Up of the initial ticket price and services booked. This 10% Top Up will be added only if the flight was operated by AEGEAN or Olympic Air. Also, the additional 10% is not applicable in case of cancelled flights due to unforeseen circumstances or beyond airline’s control, such as strike, adverse weather conditions etc.

8. Rebooking fees, service fees, other penalties (such as, name change penalty, no show penalty etc) or specific services (such as PNR on hold, Travel Insurance, Donation SOS Children’s Villages, Other non-Air services (parking, hotels, etc)), are excluded from Credit Voucher’s total value. 

9. Passenger cannot apply for a Credit Voucher for specific case, such as unaccompanied child service, award tickets and services paid with Miles+Bonus redemptions, Upgrade with Miles, Bank loyalty schemes points redemption, Miles+Cash, AEGEAN Pass, Upgrade challenge, tickets issued with the usage of a promotional code in the context of promotional campaign. For the above cases, the passenger needs to contact Call Center to ask for a refund.

10. The passenger may redeem the Credit Voucher exclusively online through aegeanair.com and olympicair.com and the Aegean App. Credit Voucher can be used to book new tickets and services and also to add a service to existing booking through “My Booking” section for purchasing baggage, seat, fast track service, sports equipment, and pet/animal transportation, and not to reissue/ exchange of tickets.

11. The Credit Voucher cannot be redeemed for tickets that have been booked temporarily with the Hold my Booking service, for award tickets and services that are issued with Miles+Bonus miles redemption, for Business on Board points redemption, for tickets issued through Bank loyalty schemes points redemption and for reserving the children travelling alone service. 

12. The Credit Voucher will be valid for bookings and flights that will take place within 18 months from the date of its issuance. The Credit Voucher can only be redeemed for the first issuance of a ticket and not for a ticket reissue or for adding a service in an existing booking. 

13. In case a Credit Voucher has not been fully or partially used within 12 months of the date of its issuance passenger is eligible to request refund of the full or the (remaining) unused amount paid of his initial booking. The additional 10% top up amount is non-refundable.  Passengers may check their Credit Voucher’s eligibility for refund here and apply for monetary refund.

14. The Credit Voucher can be redeemed by anyone, not only by the passenger for whom the initial ticket was issued.  The Credit Voucher can be redeemed in more than one booking/transaction. If the new booking is of lower value than the Credit Voucher, then the (remaining) unused amount will remain as a credit balance in the same Credit Voucher and can be later used in another booking. If the new booking is of higher value than the Credit Voucher, then the passenger will be required to pay the difference during the reservation.

15. The Credit Voucher is redeemable for one-way or return domestic or international flights and is valid for flights operated by AEGEAN and/or Olympic Air and/or for flights by other collaborating airlines (codeshare flights).

16. A booking may include more than one sectors and different destinations within AEGEAN’s and/or Olympic Air network. 

17. The Credit Voucher will be issued in GBP currency for tickets that were booked in GBP currency. The Credit Voucher will be issued in EUR currency for tickets that were booked in EUR currency or all other currencies (except for GBP currency). If the passenger wishes to change the currency of the Credit Voucher (EUR currency to be changed to GBP currency and vice versa), this could take place, only if the Credit Voucher is totally unused by contacting the Call Center. Credit Vouchers issued in EUR can be redeemed for itineraries to all destinations, except for itineraries that depart from the UK. Credit Vouchers issued in GBP currency can be used only for itineraries that depart from the UK. Only one Credit Voucher currency change is allowed, provided that the Credit Voucher is totally unused. If the passenger has changed the currency of the Credit Voucher and later partially used it but a remaining amount is left, two options may apply: a) passenger can either use it in eligible destinations according to existing Credit Voucher currency (as previously described), or b) passenger may request a refund of the (remaining) unused amount, 12 months from the date that the Credit Voucher’s currency modification took place.  When the Credit Voucher is issued in a different currency than EUR, then the exchange rate used will be the one of the date of issuance of the Credit Voucher.

18. Once the Credit Voucher has been redeemed into a new flight, the below cases could appear:

18.1. In case the flight that was booked with the usage of Credit Voucher is being canceled or rescheduled and the passenger doesn’t want to rebook another flight, a new Credit Voucher could be offered, where the same Terms & Conditions for the Credit Voucher will apply. 

18.2. In case a passenger wishes to voluntary cancel the flight that was booked with the usage of Credit Voucher, the following process will apply: 

For the flight that has been issued with the usage of Credit Voucher the below cases could occur: 

18.2.1. The passenger only used the Credit Voucher as a single form of payment (the Credit Voucher was of equal or higher value than the booking). In this case, the passenger will receive a new Credit Voucher of the remaining value of the ticket, based on the fare rules of the ticket issued with the Credit Voucher and no monetary refund will take place. 

18.2.2. The passenger used both the Credit Voucher and a monetary payment, in order to cover the additional amount of the booking (the Credit Voucher was of less value than the booking). In this case, the passenger will receive a refund.

18.3. In case a passenger had a flight issued with the usage of Credit Voucher and wants to rebook the flight, rebooking is to be processed according to fare rules. 
Any remaining amount will be refunded to the passenger in the same form of payment used in the original booking. 
The reissue of the ticket should take place by contacting AEGEAN’s call center.

19. The AEGEAN and Olympic Air Conditions of Carriage and relevant fare conditions apply to all bookings made with a Credit Voucher.

20. We collect and process passenger’s personal data, as part of our contractual obligations to them, due to the ticket’s issuance. For more information on personal data, you can visit AEGEAN’s privacy notice.

21. The Credit Voucher cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional code. Only one promotional code can be used in each booking.

Terms & Conditions of Credit Voucher (for flights not cancelled by AEGEAN/Olympic Air, for flights that the passenger wishes to voluntarily cancel)

 
In case a passenger has a flight, which has not been cancelled by AEGEAN/Olympic Air, but wishes to voluntarily cancel the ticket, the passenger may submit a request to receive a Credit Voucher, through AEGEAN Call Center or at specific AEGEAN stations in Greece. 

The Credit voucher is valid for tickets directly booked via an AEGEAN or Olympic Air point of sale (aegeanair.com, olympicair.com, Call Center, airport)

Terms & Conditions and the value of the voucher will be in accordance with the provisions of the Fare Rules (available on AEGEAN's website).

If the initial booking included more than one passenger/ticket, then the passenger must submit the Credit Voucher application for each and every one of whom, the passenger would like to receive a voucher. Later, the passenger will receive separate vouchers, for each one of them. However, if an adult and a child/infant are included in the same booking, the value of each child’s/infant’s ticket will be incorporated to the Credit Voucher of one of the adult passengers of the booking and will be sent to him/her. In case, a booking includes an adult or more and a child/infant and the adult(s) travel(s), but they want to cancel only the ticket of the child/infant, then the Credit voucher solely concern the child/infant.

2. As soon as the passenger request a Credit Voucher, subsequently their subjected booking (including all segments of the booking) will be cancelled, and their respective consent is automatically considered as given. Once the passenger submits the request for a Credit Voucher, the passenger will receive a confirmation email with a registration number. 

3. All requests will be handled individually/separately, and our aim is to reply the latest, within the next 10 working days. 

4. As soon as passenger’s Credit Voucher request is processed successfully, they will receive a confirmation email. The email includes the exact redeemable amount that the Credit Voucher(s) is/are valid for along with a promotional code and its Terms & Conditions. 
 
 5. The passenger may redeem their Credit Voucher exclusively online through aegeanair.com and olympicair.com and the Aegean App. Credit Voucher can be used to book new tickets and services and not to modify a ticket or add a service to existing booking.

6. Rebooking fees, service fees, other penalties (such as, name change penalty, no show penalty etc) or specific services (such as PNR on hold, Travel Insurance, Donation SOS Children’s Villages, Other non-Air services (parking, hotels, etc)), are excluded from Credit Voucher’s total value.

10. The Credit Voucher is non-refundable and can be redeemed only for the same passenger whose name was depicted on original ticket.  

11. The Credit Voucher can be redeemed in more than one booking/transaction. If the new booking is of lower value than the Credit Voucher, then the difference will remain as a credit balance and the Credit Voucher can be used in another booking. If the new booking is of higher value than the Credit Voucher, then the passenger will be required to pay the difference during the reservation.

12. The Credit Voucher is redeemable for one-way or return domestic or international flights and is valid for flights operated by AEGEAN and/or Olympic Air, and/or for flights by other collaborating airlines (codeshare flights).

13. A booking may include more than one sectors and different destinations within AEGEAN’s and/or Olympic Air network.

14. The Credit Voucher will be issued in GBP currency for tickets that were booked in GBP currency. The Credit Voucher will be issued in EUR currency for tickets that were booked in EUR currency or all other currencies (except for GBP currency). If the passenger wishes to change the currency of the Credit Voucher (EUR currency to be changed to GBP currency and vice versa), this could take place, only if the Credit Voucher is totally unused by contacting the Call Center. Credit Vouchers issued in EUR can be redeemed for itineraries to all destinations, except for itineraries that depart from the UK. Credit Vouchers issued in GBP currency can be used only for itineraries that depart from the UK. Only one Credit Voucher currency change is allowed, provided that the Credit Voucher is totally unused. If the passenger has changed the currency of the Credit Voucher and later partially used it but a remaining amount is left, then the passenger can either use it in eligible destinations according to existing Credit Voucher currency (as previously described). When the Credit Voucher is issued in a different currency than Euro, then the exchange rate used will be the one of the date of issuance of the Credit Voucher.

15. Once the Credit Voucher has been redeemed into a new flight, the below cases could appear:

15.1. In case the flight that was booked with the usage of Credit Voucher is being canceled or rescheduled, and the passenger doesn’t want to rebook in another flight, a new Credit Voucher could be offered, where the same Terms & Conditions for the Credit Voucher apply. 

15.2. In case a passenger wishes to voluntary cancel their flight that was booked with the usage of Credit Voucher, the following process will apply: 

For the flight that has been issued with the usage of Credit Voucher the below cases could occur: 

15.2.1. The passenger only used the Credit Voucher as a single form of payment (the Credit Voucher must be of equal or higher value than the booking). In this case, the passenger will receive a new Credit Voucher of the remaining value of the ticket, based on the fare rules of the ticket issued with the Credit Voucher, and no monetary refund will take place. 

15.2.2. The passenger used both the Credit Voucher as well as monetary payment in order to cover the additional amount for his booking (the Credit Voucher was of less value than the booking). In this case, the passenger will receive a refund for the whole eligible amount either with a bank transfer or a new Voucher will be issued.

15.3. In case a passenger had a flight issued with the usage of Credit Voucher and wants to rebook the flight, rebooking is to be processed according to fare rules.   
Any remaining amount will be refunded to the passenger in the same form of payment used in the original booking. 
The reissue of the ticket should take place by contacting AEGEAN’s call center 

16. The AEGEAN and Olympic Air Conditions of Carriage and relevant fare conditions apply to all bookings made with a Credit Voucher.
