Light Fare

Seat selection anytime from booking at a charge. If you do not want to purchase a Seat, you will be assigned a random one during check-in. In case you wish to change your assigned seat you may select either a standard, Up Front or Extra Legroom at a charge.

Flex Fare

Seat selection anytime from booking. Standard seat selection is free of charge. If you do not want to select a seat, you will be assigned a random one during check-in. In case you wish to change your assigned seat you may select either a standard free of charge or Up Front and Extra Legroom at a charge.

Family Fare

Free seat selection for standard seats any time from the time of booking or during check-in. In case you wish to change your assigned seat, you can select a standard seat for free and an Up front or Extra Legroom seat at a charge.

ComfortFlex Fare

Seat selection anytime from booking. Standard and Up Front seat selection is free of charge upon availability. If you do not want to select a seat, you will be assigned a random one during check-in. In case you wish to change your assigned seat you may select either a standard or Up Front free of charge and Extra Legroom at a charge.

Flying Business Class?

As a Business Class passenger, you may select the seat you prefer in advance, free of charge. Select your favourite seat online while booking your ticket, or after via “My Booking” or AEGEAN’s call center.

Charges for Seat Selection

When flying aboard our Airbus fleet type (319, 320, 321) and Turboprop ATR 72-600, you have the chance to choose in advance the seat type you prefer, either an Extra Legroom Seat, Upfront Seat or Standard Seat.

You can book it from the time of the ticket reservation until minutes prior to departure. Seat change is not allowed while on board.

The table below display the charges applying for passengers flying Economy Class. For Flex fares, Standard seat selection is free of charge from the moment of booking. For ComfortFlex fare category Standard and Up Front seats are free of charge. Business Class seats selection is free at all times.

Notes

• The seat preselection service applies for flights operated by AEGEAN, Olympic Air, Lufthansa, Swiss International Airlines, Brussels Airlines, TAP Portugal, Egyptair and Austrian Airlines.
• It is not available if the validating Airline Carrier is other than AEGEAN or Olympic Air.
• The above rates apply per flight.
• If you wish to book your seat through the AEGEAN call center after your ticket has been issued, a service fee of €8 per passenger will apply.

Special Terms

Travelling with infants & children

When an adult travels with a child under the same flight reservation, it is compulsory that the same seat type is selected for both. Additionally, for safety reasons, children or adults travelling with infants may not opt for an emergency exit seat (e.g. Extra Legroom seat type) or seats located in the row in front and/or behind the emergency exits.

Passengers requiring special assistance

Passengers who need transportation in a wheelchair and submit a relevant request during the booking process, will have the chance to select from all seats available except emergency exit seats and adjacent rows. If, however, the wheelchair request is submitted after the booking completion, then the already selected seat will be cancelled without refund.

Emergency exit seat type

For security purposes there are restrictions regarding passengers that can select an exit row seat. More specifically they must:

• be over the age of 15
• be able to understand crew instructions and/or convey information verbally to the other passengers
• not require a seatbelt extension
• not be pregnant or travelling with an infant, pet or service animal
• not have reduced mobility, disability or any health conditions which may cause problems or delays in the use of the emergency exit
  i.e.
  - disability in arms/hands and/or legs
  - impaired vision or hearing
  - use of wheelchair or other mobility aid
  - use of supplementary oxygen or a portable oxygen concentrator

 
Changes & refunds for Seat Selection

Changed your mind? You can easily and conveniently change your flight ticket with an existing seat reservation under "My Booking". 

In case you paid for a seat reservation and wish to change it, please note that if the new seat’s price is higher, the difference will be charged. Please note that charges already paid for seat reservations cannot be reimbursed if there are no equivalent seats available for reservation on the changed flight (i.e. same type and with the same characteristics).

Should you wish to cancel your flight, no refund is granted for the purchased preferential seat.

For involuntary seat changes incurred due to operational reasons (such aircraft change or other safety or security causes), we will automatically assign an equivalent seat to you. Nevertheless, in the event that such a reallocation is unfeasible, you are entitled to a refund.
