How to create your electronic bag tag

Once you complete the flight check-in via the AEGEAN app, open your boarding pass and select baggage check-in.

1. Baggage selection

From the list displayed, select the baggage you would like to check-in.

2. Transfer the electronic bag tag to your device

Select "Activate with NFC" to create your bag tag label and follow the instructions on the mobile screen to transfer it to your BAGTAG device

3. You' re set!

Once the device is attached on your baggage, you can take it directly to a self-service kiosk or to the baggage drop-off belts at the airport.

Important Notes

The device can be handled in specific airports.
Prerequisites for electronic bag tag use:
-Mobile phone equipped with NFC and Bluetooth
-Most recent version of the AEGEAN App
-Mobile phone operating system: Android 5.0 (or higher) / iOS 11.0 (or higher)
The flights will be open for baggage check-in from 48 hours up to mobile check-in closure time (depending on the departure airport).
You can also use the electronic bag tag for connecting flights.
The baggage allowance as per fare family (Flex, Family, Comfort Flex, Business) and restrictions in quantity are also applicable here. Find the baggage allowance and exact cost of additional baggage of each fare through baggage calculator.
