Liability for the transport of baggage
We take great care in handling your baggage. However, under international regulations, our liability for loss, delay, partial or total damage to baggage—including items such as wheelchairs, mobility aids, musical instruments, and sports equipment—is limited to 1,519 Special Drawing Rights (SDR) per passenger, per journey.

Important exceptions & exclusions
AEGEAN and Olympic Air are not liable for loss, damage, or delay involving the following excluded items when placed in checked baggage, with or without the carrier's prior knowledge:
- Valuables: money, credit cards, cheques, jewelry, precious metals, securities, legal or negotiable documents, etc
- Electronics: laptops, cameras, mobile phones, tablets, and photographic or electronic equipment, etc
- Personal items: keys, glasses/sunglasses, branded pens, business documents, samples, etc
- Sensitive or irreplaceable goods: antiques, artwork, manuscripts, rare books, identification documents, etc
- Fragile, perishable, or restricted items: liquids, medical supplies, medicines, commercial goods, and zamzam water, etc
Note: In the case of unchecked (carry-on) baggage, the airline is liable only if proven at fault. For damaged contents within checked baggage, no liability is assumed by the carrier.
