1. If you have booked a GoLight ticket up until 15/09/2020 (which is automatically under the Light Fare after 15/09/2020) either for domestic network or from/to Cyprus with travel date up until 28/02/21, you can proceed with unlimited rebookings for any future date with no rebooking fees (possible fare and tax difference applies) up until 10/12/20. After 10/12/20 you can make one more change with no rebooking fees (possible fare and tax difference applies) for any future date.  
2. If you have booked a GoLight ticket up until 15/09/2020 (which is automatically under the Light Fare after 15/09/2020) for international network with travel date up until 31/03/21, you can proceed with unlimited rebookings for any future date with no rebooking fees (possible fare and tax difference applies) up until 07/01/21. After 07/01/21 you can make one more change with no rebooking fees (possible fare and tax difference applies) for any future date.  
3. If you have booked a GoLight ticket before 18/05/20 and you have rebooked within the period of 18/05/20 and up to 15/06/20, then your ticket is under the Flex category, since it was the only available fare in economy class from 18/05/20 to 15/06/20) and that means unlimited ticket changes with no rebooking fees are allowed (possible fare and tax difference applies)
4. If you have booked a Light ticket up until 10/12/2020 either for domestic network or from/to Cyprus with travel date up until 28/02/21, you can proceed with unlimited rebookings for any future date with no rebooking fees (possible fare and tax difference applies) up until 10/12/20. After 10/12/20 you can make one more change with no rebooking fees (possible fare and tax difference applies) for any future date.  
5. If you have already booked or will book a Light or Saver ticket up until 07/01/2021 for international network with travel date up until 31/03/2021, you can proceed with with unlimited rebookings for any future date with no rebooking fees (possible fare and tax difference applies) up until 07/01/2021 . After 07/01/2021 you can make one more change with no rebooking fees (possible fare and tax difference applies) for any future date.  
6. Ιf you have booked a ticket before 11/12/20, regardless fare class, with travel date from 06/11/20 until 07/01/21, your flight is not cancelled but you are not able or you don’t wish to fly then:
   You may modify your reservation with no rebooking fee and no fare difference.
   A) You can rebook your ticket for free on any available flight to the same destination at a new time or future date:
   i. online through “My booking” or
   ii. through our call center or
   iii. through your travel agent.
   B) You may request to change your ticket to open for 1 year from the date of your booking. In order to change your ticket to open, please contact our call center or your travel agent.
7. All tickets booked under the any fare category, and none of the above conditions apply on your booking, changes are allowed based on the fare regulations you will find here.

*All tickets, regardless the date of issuance of the ticket or the travel date, can be rebooked online to any new travel date.

The Light fare includes 1 hand luggage up to 8 kg (56 * 45 * 23) or 1 personal item within the aircraft (in case you hold both a personal bag and a carry-on luggage, the personal bag must fit within the carry-on luggage). 
The Flex fare includes one carry-on luggage up to 8kg (56 * 45 * 23) and 1 personal item / personal bag within the aircraft. 
The ComfortFlex fare includes 1 checked luggage up to 23 kg, one carry-on luggage up to 8kg (56 * 45 * 23) and 1 personal item / personal bag within the aircraft.

Passengers who desire to book a Business Class ticket, should be informed that they can travel with two checked luggage up to 32 kg each, and 1 carry-on luggage (up to 13 kg within limitations) and one personal item / personal bag within the aircraft.

If you wish to change your destination you can change it, according to the rules of the fare of your ticket through our call center.

Through here, you can find the flight you are interested in. In case your flight is not found, that means that it has been cancelled. Due to constant changes on travel restrictions between countries, before booking a ticket, as well as before travelling, you are invited to check what applies to the country you want to travel from/to.

When a flight is cancelled, all passengers who have booked through an AEGEAN point of sale (website, call center, airport) get a notification (SMS or email) with the alternative options offered. For bookings through travel agents: The travel agent has been notified about the flight cancellation.

1. If there is an available flight for the same destination within the same day, your booking will be automatically rescheduled to this flight, and you have to accept the change on the notification you received. 

2. If the flight that was cancelled was a direct flight from a Greek airport, and we offer an alternative flight within the same day through Athens, then your booking will be automatically rescheduled to this flight, and you have to accept the change on the notification you received. 

3. However, if you don’t agree with the above automatic reschedule or if there is no available automatic reschedule:

• You can easily apply online to receive a Credit Voucher, whose value will be increased by an additional 10% of the value of your initial ticket, regardless the fare of your ticket (Economy and Business Class) through our website here. 
• You can rebook your flight to the same destination for a future date, only through our call center or through your travel agent. 
• You can request for a refund through here and only if you booked your ticket through an AEGEAN point of sale (website, call center, airport). Kindly note that due to the high volume of requests, it can take several weeks to process your refund request and get back to you. Alternatively, you may request a Credit Voucher, whose value will be increased by an additional 10% of the value of your initial ticket. 
• Please note that we are currently receiving a high volume of calls in our Call Center. We ask for your understanding for the long waiting times, while we are doing our best to assist all of our passengers. 

All notifications are being sent in waves to the passengers of a flight that has been cancelled, in the personal data you have provided during the booking (mobile number or email), so that is why not all passengers are informed at the same time. If you can’t find your flight here, then your flight is cancelled.

If you wish to cancel your booking even though your flight is operating, you can proceed with the cancellation, through our call center according to the fare rules of your ticket. 

We strongly advise you to check-in online as to avoid any long queues or crowding at the airport. Online check-in is available 48 hours prior to your flight through our website or the Aegean App. 

Since social distancing is followed in all airport procedures, we would recommend depending on whether you have to deliver luggage to the drop-off counter or not, come at least 2 hours before your flight to the airport if it is central and 1 hour if it is regional. However, this is an appropriate time of arrival and the company is not responsible for any delays in airport procedures.

Following latest announcements and decisions of Greek Government, the Intra Schengen and the Extra Schengen Lounge at the Athens International Airport will suspend their operation. Our lounge at the airport of Thessaloniki is temporarily closed. Our lounge at the Larnaka airport, however, remains open.

We follow all necessary precaution measures so to welcome you and offer a safe and relaxed experience before your flight. Our food and beverage offering has also been adapted according to the guidelines of the health authorities. The usage of masks is obligatory within the lounge. In order to secure the safety of our passengers, we have alternated temporarily our boarding procedures regarding our Business and Gold Miles+Bonus and Gold Star Alliance Members. The boarding of Business passengers will take place after the boarding of the Economy Class is completed. The process of priority boarding of Gold Miles+Bonus and Gold Star Alliance Members holding an Economy Class ticket, has been temporarily suspended, as boarding is based on the seat of the passengers, first the passengers with a window seat, then in the middle seat and finally with a seat in the aisle.

In case of bus transfer to the aircraft, schedules are increased, and buses are occupied 50% of their capacity with no more than 40 passengers per route. 

At the departure gate, we are already implementing a new boarding process that facilitates social distancing. More specifically, boarding is performed per seat, first for the passengers in a window, then for the middle seats and finally for the seats in the aisle, after a relevant announcement, while a distance of 1.5 meters is kept between the passengers. Contactless control of the boarding pass, through scanning to the special scanners is already part of our process. In addition, you are invited to show your passport or ID to the staff at the gate by checking your passport or ID yourself. In case of transfer to the aircraft by bus, increased routes are carried out and the buses are used only in 50% of their available space, with no more than 40 passengers per route. The boarding of the aircraft is done from the front door. Both for boarding and during the flight, a mask is mandatory.

The service on board procedure has been adjusted in order to secure the safety and protection of all of us.

• Domestic flights: Prepacked snack is offered to all passengers, while the service on board with hot and cold beverages as well as alcohol drinks is reinstated in Business Class only. 
• International flights: Prepacked snack is offered to all passengers. Service on board with hot and cold beverages as well as alcohol drinks is reinstated in Business Class, while service on board with hot and cold beverages (no alcohol) is reinstated in Economy Class. 

Special meal preselection and Business Class meal pre-order is currently suspended, following the measures taken to our food and beverage offering during flight.

We have suspended the food and beverage service on board, offering all passengers an individual water bottle and a packaged snack. This is also offered to children at this time. If a parent needs to heat a child's milk, we will be more than happy to assist you, as always.

All passengers are offered an individual water bottle and a packaged snack. Soon, there will be a differentiation in service for the Business Class, but for the given period of time, a cold snack is offered on both classes on board. Service on board with hot and cold beverages is reinstated in Business Class. Alcohol drinks are offered only in the international flights.  

To ensure your safety and reduce contact during this period, newspapers are not available on board.

1) Through the Aegean App,
2) Download it from AEGEAN Stream on our international flights,
3) During your flight you may find your free personal copy at the seat back pockets. It comes wrapped in single use packaging, allowing you to browse with confidence. You can take it with you when you disembark. All magazines left on board after the flight will be recycled.  

Face mask is obligatory for all passengers and optional for infants, however you are allowed to remove it so that you can drink water or consume the offered snack. It is recommended that this process be as short as possible so that you and your co-passengers feel safe and secure. Please make sure you bring your own mask as you will need to wear it, from check-in up until after your disembarkation at your destination as well as during the flight. Gloves are not obligatory. During flight and flight preparation, cabin crew are requested to wear protective face mask and gloves. Please note that visor masks are allowed only if they are used in combination with a mask. Like most airlines, we follow the guidelines and the restriction measures provided by the Official Authorities. Among the instructions is the one for the obligatory use of a mask for all passengers and children. For children aged 0-6 years old, the use of the mask is optional.

Both airport staff throughout your stay at the airport and before boarding the aircraft, as well as the Hygiene Attendant and the cabin crew, monitor the correct use of a mask by passengers. The mask is allowed to be removed for a while to consume a snack or drink water.

The toilet as well as the cabin of the aircraft are meticulously cleaned before each of our flights. The toilets within the aircraft operate normally during the flight and are equipped with antiseptics. 

To ensure a safe experience for both passengers and crew, our cabin crew use personal protective equipment throughout each flight. More specifically, our crew members wear face masks and gloves, whereas in some cases extra protective equipment is required such as single use aprons and protective glasses. 

According to best practices and recommendations of EASA, WHO, ICAO and IATA, we have adapted specific aircraft interior cleaning procedures for both regular and periodic cleaning and disinfection. Our standard aircraft cleaning procedures have been amplified and average cleaning time is doubled between all our flights, in all stations in Greece and abroad, both during the day and after the completion of flights at night. Moreover, all the air in the Airbus cabins is, on average, completely changed every 3 minutes during cruise. This rate is much higher than what people experience in other indoor environments. The air in the cabin is a mixture of fresh air drawn from outside, and air that passes through extremely efficient filters, called HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Arrestors), which capture more than 99% of even microscopic bacteria and viruses. All Airbus aircraft in our fleet are equipped with HEPA filters.

Additionally, in every flight we keep few seats - either at the front or at the back according to aircraft type - vacant, in case we need to isolate a possible suspected case.

Focusing on passengers’ safety and aiming for air travel to remain amongst the safest travel means, AEGEAN introduces to its passengers the Hygiene Attendants. Hygiene Attendants, members of our cabin crew,  will bear a special insignia and will assist passengers to follow all safety measures while boarding, in flight, and during disembarkation.

Hygiene Attendants, through a pleasant disposition while always understanding of the new circumstances imposed to the passengers due to the pandemic, will kindly remind all passengers:

• the correct and continuous use of masks in flight, whilst simultaneously caring for its use during certain circumstances such as during the consumption of snacks and beverages
• to keep distances while boarding and disembarking the aircraft as well as limit their mobility during the flight
• and answer to any queries passengers may have, concerning safety measures, safety protocols, cleaning and disinfecting processes, the air circulation and recycling process in the cabin, etc.

• For all the Silver and Gold members of our Miles+Bonus loyalty program whose tier expires from 31/03/2020, their tier will be extended for 6 months. Every member will have 18 months available - instead of 12 - in order to reach the rules, needed for their tier retain.
  If, for example, a Silver or Gold member’s tier expires on 30/11/2020, the new tier expiration date will be on 30/05/2021. Therefore, the period for the member to meet the criteria for tier retain will be 18 months, and specifically from 31/11/2019 until 29/05/2021.
• For all the Silver and Gold members who have already accrued the requested number of miles for their tier retain, their tier is secured for 12 months post the extended tier expiration date.  
  For example, a Silver or Gold member, whose tier expires on 30/11/2020 and is extended for 30/05/2021 and has accrued the requested number of miles for tier retain, his tier is secured until 30/05/2022. 
• For all Silver and Gold members that have already secured their tier up until 2022, no extension of tier duration will take place.

The digital membership card in Miles+Bonus account, is updated with the new expiration date of the members’ tier. Every member can check it by logging in to Miles+Bonus account in aegeanair.com or through AEGEAN app. We are not going to send out new membership cards for this extension period. However, if anyone wishes to print their membership card, they can do so in their Miles+Bonus account through aegeanair.com or through AEGEAN App by selecting “Reissue my card”.

Apart from their tier, complimentary tier coupons are extended for 6 months as well.

After the end of the 18 months, the requested period for the member to meet all the necessary criteria will be again 12 months. 

For all members that will be upgraded after 31/03/2020, their tier duration will be 12 months and no extension will take place.

The miles, that have been purchased by members for their tier retain, will continue to count in the total miles requested during the 18 - month extended tier duration.

On the 30/03/2020 we will restore and extend for 6 months the tier for all members meeting the following criteria: 

• For all Silver members that haven’t managed to retain their tier from 11/03/2020 until 30/03/2020 and had accrued at least 6,000 tier miles, with at least 2 AEGEAN or Olympic Air flights, or 14,000 tier miles, regardless of the number of flights.
• For all Gold members that haven’t managed to retain their tier from 11/03/2020 until 30/03/2020 and had accrued at least 9,000 tier miles, with at least 4 AEGEAN or Olympic Air flights, or 21,000 tier miles, regardless of the number of flights.

For flights that have been cancelled, and the tickets had been purchased via award miles, we refund the members the respective miles, as well as the amount of the taxes paid.

The member can proceed with the refund by contacting our call center (+30 210 6261000).

AEGEAN has already incorporated within its Aircraft Maintenance Manual guidelines,  best practices and recommendations of EASA, WHO, ICAO and IATA with regards to specific aircraft interior cleaning procedures for both regular and periodic cleaning and disinfection of its aircraft in order to achieving high standards of hygiene and sanitation, to protect travellers and crews engaged in air transport.

Following the current developments regarding the spread of the coronavirus, the company has already amplified standard aircraft cleaning procedures between all its flights, in all stations in Greece and abroad, both during the day and after the completion of flights at night.

In addition, AEGEAN has already set up a process for disinfection with a specialized disinfection company in cases where a possible affected passenger is reported by National Public Health Organization (NPHO). 

Similar are the procedures followed by our partners for the cleaning of our lounges.

AEGEAN is already compliant with sectoral legislation applied for hygiene and sanitation and incorporates best practices for the health, hygiene and safety of our crew and passengers.

Following the current developments regarding the spread of the coronavirus the company following relevant guidelines from National Public Health Organization (NPHO) has developed as a precautionary measure, a home-restriction procedure for selected crews which may be activated upon guidance by the competent authorities. The company is in communication with relevant authorities regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19), in order to receive all necessary guidelines with regards to both precautionary or reactive measures.
