Aegean Airlines is committed to providing irreproachable standards of service for all its passengers. Meeting the needs of our passengers is our main priority in all our operations and activities.
Aegean Airlines is happy to provide all the necessary services to ensure that passengers with special needs enjoy a comfortable flight and can board and alight from their aircraft in perfect safety. Wheelchairs are carried free of charge and are not counted as part of the standard baggage allowance. Special assistance is available for elderly passengers at check-in and during the boarding process. In order to provide such assistance, passengers must call Aegean Airlines reservations department and request it accordingly. The same procedure must be followed when the reservation was made on line through Aegean web site.
Oxygen supply in flight
If oxygen needs to be administered during a flight, to a patient or person with special needs, then the relevant forms must be filled in by the attending physicians giving details of the patient’s state of health, and certifying that he or she is fit to fly. In addition, since the oxygen cylinder that will be used has to be suitable for use on aircraft, it must be accompanied by the corresponding documentation certifying its suitability for use during the journey. For precise guidelines on implementing the specified procedure, please contact the reservations department (tel. +30 210 6261000).
Pregnant passengers
Pregnant women are acceptable for carriage on all Aegean flights up to the end of the 35th week of pregnancy. If more than 35 weeks pregnant women are not accepted for transportation.
