Self check-in is a new service from Aegean which allows you to check in by your own for one or more flights at the new Self Service Kiosks, available at the following airports: Athens, Thessaloniki, Heraklion, Chania, Mykonos and Rhodes. By checking in at the Self Service Kiosks you save valuable time by going straight to your departure gate. Your boarding card is printed out by the special machine once you’ve been through the self check-in procedure.
How to get your boarding card
When you get to the airport (Athens, Thessaloniki, Heraklion, Chania, Mykonos, Rhodes, Mytilene or Santorini) go straight to the special machines which have been installed right in front of the Aegean check-in counters.
Using a simple, five-step procedure you can check-in by your own:

Confirm details:
There are four ways of verifying your details.
a. By inserting the credit card you used to pay for your ticket
b. By inserting your Aegean Miles & Bonus frequent flyer card or the Lufthansa Miles & More card
c. By inserting your passport
d. By keying in the number of your e-ticket
Step 3
The system will automatically assign you a seat on the plane. However, if you wish, you can select a seat of your own choice on the seating plan which will appear on the screen. Passengers travelling as part of a group may select seats for all the group members (up to 9 persons) who have not yet checked in.
Step 4
You can credit your flight miles to your Aegean Miles & Bonus or Lufthansa Miles & More card by entering your card code number or inserting your card in the special slot.
Step 5
The machine is now ready to print out your boarding card.
PLEASE NOTE:The self check-in service is available only for those with an e-ticket (issued directly by Aegean or by your travel agent) who are carrying hand luggage only
The service can be used from 24 hours to 30 minutes before your scheduled flight time
Those returning the same day can also check-in for their return flight
Passengers whose journeys involve several flights can check in for all flights involved
Passengers whose journeys involve flights on affiliated airlines can check in for all sections of their journey
The service is not available for unaccompanied children, passengers with special needs and passengers flying on complimentary tickets
In order to travel you will need to present an ID Card or passport at the gate, as well as the boarding card issued by the self check-in machine.
VALID FOR ATHENS "ELEFTHERIOS VENIZELOS" INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT AND THESSALONIKI "MACEDONIA" INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
Passengers carrying check-in baggage and who have pre-checked their seats using either e-check in or self check-in may head to the baggage drop-off points.
