SOS Children’s Villages
Aegean's new destination

In 2008 we added a new destination to our schedule: The SOS Children’s Villages. Our main goal was to help set up the building to house the SOS-ELIZA guesthouse, a center for abused or neglected children of ages up to five years-old. We managed to achieve that purpose with your help.

For 2009 we’ve set a new goal: To build a new home at the SOS Thrace Children’s Village.

The Thrace Children’s Village is located at Aristino in Alexandroupoli, and marks a shift in focus for the organization towards local communities facing stark social problems. The new SOS village features:

• SOS family homes, ready to welcome up to forty children.
• A support center for children and families, offering free psychological support, speech language therapy and creative activities to 50 local children.
• A day care center for children with special needs, able to welcome 30 children daily.

Help us build a new home and provide a family to children who need it.

We have activated a special step in our e-ticket service so that each time a ticket is issued you are given the option to contribute, if you wish, 2 Euros with each transaction.

Specifically, during Step 3 of the e-ticket purchasing process and prior to entering your credit card information, you may check a box to indicate that you agree to make the donation. Aegean will match every passenger’s donation with 2 additional euros.
